7:00pm - Zwanger Pesiri versus McCourt & Trudden - 60ft field

A solid performance was played all around by McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, who continue to improve with their 4th win of the season. A 15-3 M&T win over Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology was one of the best nights in several years, both during and after the game. A solid pitching performance by “Big” Al Lobardi held the tough hitting Zwanger team to only 3 runs. Big Al added some solid hitting too with a tremendous triple. Clutch hits were common for M&T with Mike Anzalone, Rick Bugeia, Jim Hose and Brian Murphy providing key hits when they were needed. Gary Reifert and “Coach” Mike Colecchia put on another hitting clinic continuing with their hot bats. Keys plays included “skinny Bobby” Concessi's two run save with a catch behind second base and a run scoring from 2nd base on a key 2 out single from Rick Bugela. More solid hitting by Matt Sclafani and Rob Keener. Rob also helped turn a key double play. Nothing got by third base with the solid gloves of Bob Dunn and Mark Milanta. The hit parade continued with John Celenza and Anthony Blassi.

The best was yet to come after the game with a victory get together in the park with the wives and children. Attendance and camaraderie were absolutely great and all enjoyed some victory refreshments. A special thank you to Mark Milanta for the great variety of meats. Thank you John Celenza for the peppers and onions for the sausage and finally, thank you Jane Concessi for the homemade potato salad. Nights like this are what the OTHG league is all about.
