Zwanger-Pesiri
Radiology played its best game of the season to beat Bethpage Pharmacy
17-8. Pitcher Marc Fischer had a fantastic game for ZP. He held a first
place team to 8 runs, had at least 6 assists and slammed 4 hits. Not
bad for a Friday night. Fischer had plenty of help in the field, especially
from John Hernandez at shortstop and Kevin McGinnis at 2nd base. At
the plate, ZP scored at least one run in the first 6 innings. Jerry
Mazza had 4 hits and scored 4 times. Tommy Dittmeier had three hits
and 4 RBIs. Hernandez, Bino Reverberi and Art O’Neill also had 3 hits.
Sean O’Flynn had 2 hits and 4 RBIs while McGinnis also had a pair of
hits during a much needed, all-around good night for ZP.
Bar-Boy
remained undefeated with a 21-3 win over Changing Times Pub. BB came
out strong with 8 runs in the 2nd inning and kept the hitting up all night.
The team also played a very good defensive game and held Changing Times
to 3 runs. Ken Kuzma went 2 for 4 as the leadoff batter with 2 RBIs, Tom Debona also went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI, Steve Kirk went 4 for4 with 3 RBIs,
Ken Kohlmann went 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs, Jason Cinelli went 3 for 4 with
2 RBIs, Tom Gemma went 2 for3 with 1 RBI, Steve Rose went 2 for 3 with
3 RBIs, Frank Badalamenti went 2 for3 with 2 RBIs (including a triple), Sebby Raspanti went 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs, Darrin Simons went 2 for 4
with 1 RBI, Mike Frain went 1 for 4 with 2 RBIs and Joe Badalamenti
went 2 for 4.
