Hey, who put velcro on the fence...

Clocked at over 100mph around the bases...

I know there's a hit in there somewhere...

C'mon, just pitch the ball already...

7:00pm - Moby Drugs versus Lockie & Nowachek- 90ft field

Lockie & Nowachek Family Chiropractors (L&N) earned their second win, with a 12-11 victory over Moby Drugs. L&N took the field short-handed playing with only three outfielders. Ben Greco was pressed into service to pitch the entire game. Damon Pishva led the offense, going 6 for 6.

8:20pm - Barco Construction versus Bar-Boy - 60ft field

Break up Barco; they won their second game in a row, beating a tough Bar Boy team 21-16. Dave Ringer led the way for Barco with 5-5 night with 3 RBIs along with Terry McPartland, who had 4 hits & 4 RBIs. Also aiding to the cause were Mike Angarita, with 3 hits including a grand salami, Kevin Moloney who had two clutch two out hits to drive in four and Dave Saur who had 3 hits and 4 RBIs as well. Steve Jacobson is reported to be on a suicide watch as he took another called “K”. Good thing Terry took Steve's  bat on the way back to the dugout as his teammates wouldn't have had enough time to escape. The Barco team would like to extend their well wishes and a speedy recovery to Mario DiChiara who has been hospitalized for the past two weeks.

9:40pm - Changing Times versus Zwanger Pesiri - 60ft field

Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology (ZP) snapped a two game losing streak with a 30-16 win over Changing Times Pub. Spurred by a midweek email from T-Ball, the team’s bats came alive. John Hernandez and Jerry Mazza both went 6 for 6. Marc Fischer had four hits basically using one hand. Richie D’Amico returned to his old number two slot and banged out 4 hits. Rookie Anthony Nicolich belted a 3 run triple. Pitcher Brian Tinney helped his own cause with 4 hits and a diving grab of a short pop while the game was still on the line. The other defensive standout was Art O’Neill who had several impressive picks at first base. The game was tight until the 8th when ZP exploded for 14 runs. Vinny Cuillo had 2 of his 3 hits during the inning. Rounding out the hit parade: Tommy Dittmeier, Bino Reverberi, Ira Berger, Pete Mendelson and Tyrone Clark had 3 hits on a night where everyone came to play.
