7:00pm - Bar-Boy versus Singletons - 60ft field
Bar-Boy
beat Singletons 23-19 in a special Thursday night edition of Over the
Hill Gang tournament action. Singleton's jumped to an 11-5 lead, but
Bar-Boy tightened their defense and came roaring back. The biggest inning
was the 8th. The team scored 10 runs with 15 batters taking swings.
Everyone has to hit to beat Singleton's and that's what happened Thursday.
Frank Badalamenti had 7 RBIs and that's with two drives hitting the
light pole robbing him of two homers. Lino Raspanti was also hot. He
had 3 hits and 4 RBIs. Tom Debona, Tom Gemma and Joe Scotti had 3 hits
and multiple RBIs on the night. Darrin Simmons was on base 4 times
with 2 hits and 2 walks.
