A little camera shy behind the glove...

What's up with that call...

All eyes on the ball...

Nothin' like the Home Run High Fives...

8:20pm - LaCorte Family Auto versus Bar-Boy - 60ft field

LaCorte Family Auto Repair won a tight one against Bar-Boy 18 - 17. Vic Inzirillo went 3 for 5 with a grand slam. Joe Deleo went 2 for 3 with 2 walks and a home run. Rich Peccia's base clearing double was a big offensive boost for LaCorte. For Bar-Boy, Frank Badalmenti had a fantastic night with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs. Tom Dibona and Mike Frain both went 3 for 4. Rookie Joe Slotti went 2 for 4. Bar Boy's record is now is 2 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie.

9:40pm - Zwanger Pesiri versus McCourt & Trudden - 60ft field

Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology picked up its first win of the season with a 23-19 victory over McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home. ZP jumped to a quick 4-0 lead in the 1st, but M&T battled back and took the lead until the 3rd inning. That's when ZP broke out with 10 hits and 10 runs, its biggest inning of the young season. Sean O'Flynn had the big hit, a three run homer. Marc Fischer launched a bomb that went for a triple. For the night, Rookie Steve Lenci had a breakout game with a pair of doubles, a single and three RBI. Jerry Mazza had 4 hits and 3 RBIs. John Hernandez, O'Flynn, Fischer and winning pitcher Brian Tinney had three hits. Russ Graham, Richie D'Amico, Anthony Nicolich, John DeFalco and Pete Mendelson all pitched in with two hits each. Defensively, Graham was solid at shortstop and Lenci had a good game in right field. And belated kudos to rookie Marty Dunn who slammed his first OTHG homer last week.

9:40pm - Lockie & Nowachek versus Bethpage Pharmacy - 90ft field

Lockie & Nowachek Family Chiropractors and Bethpage Pharmacy played another exciting game Friday night! In a nip and tuck battle, BP took a 13-10 lead into the 7th inning. L&N scored 6 runs over the next two innings to secure the 16-13 win. Hitting stars for L&N were Damon Pishva and Rich Apollo who both went 4 for 4, Pete Cestare and Ron Schwabe who went 3 for 3, and Tim Jones who went 2 for 3 with a big home run. Cestare and Schwabe combined pitching duties for the win! L&N goes to 3-1-1 and BP drops to 2-3.
