Power outage dims the lights at Allen Park

For the first time in league history a power outage affected Friday night's OTHG schedule at the park.  The North Massapequa area, from the Southern State Parkway, into the Farmingdale area, including Allen Park, lost power around 5:30pm Friday evening.  The 7:00pm games were played in summer daylight, but the 8:20 and 9:40 games were cancelled as the park had to close for the evening.  Power was restored around 9:30 that evening.

The balance of the Jun 27th Schedule of games will be played on Sep 5th.

Happy July 4th Weekend

Enjoy the long holiday weekend.  There are no OTHG games scheduled for July 4th, which happens to be on a Friday night this year.  Games will resume Friday, July 11th. See you then.

7:00pm - Singletons versus Moby Drugs - 90ft field

Moby Drugs beat Singleton’s 10-9 in a tight, hard fought game. Moby only had 14 hits on the night but used them wisely to score their ten runs. After Moby jumped to a 6-1 lead, Singleton’s answered with 7 of their own. Andy Sullivan belted a long home run in the bottom of the 4th to tie the game for Moby. In the 6th, Moby took the lead and held on for the win.
