Over The Hill Gang announces Charity Fundraiser

Fundraiser moved to Aug 22nd due to weather. May 9th schedule of games (make up week) will replace the Home Run Derby and All Star Game.

This week (Friday, Aug 22nd (rescheduled from the 15th), 7pm at Allen Park) is the annual Over the Hill Gang Chartity fundraiser.  Players, please come down with your raffle tickets and your friends to help raise money for “Daniela”.  The entire Farmingdale community is invited.  The event is a great late summer opportunity to spend some time with friends and neighbors while helping a child in need.  There will be free pizza, music, refreshments and plenty of raffles.  The grand prize is a 52 inch HDTV.   Over the Hill players will compete in a home run hitting contest and an All-Star game.  If nothing else, it will be a great chance to see if your favorite Over the Hill Gang player is really as good as he claims.

The Over The Hill Gang Schedule was totally rained out on Aug 8, 2008. Appropriate make up dates will be posted on the web later on in the season. You can always check "Schedules" for more information.

Update: The Aug 8th games were rescheduled for Tue, Sep 9th and Fri, Sep 12th.  The league was able to play one game on Tue, Sep 9th.  M&T beat Barco 38-18. The balance of the games were rained out again on Fri, Sep 12th and had to be eliminated from the schedule.
